The tests showed the active fruit stem cell ingredient can maintain the adult stem cells’ colony-forming efficiency longer, even if the cells were stressed through exposure to UV light. Tests on the 3D epidermis model showed that aged skin stem cells can form a complete epidermis when PhytoCellTec™ Malus Domestica .01% is applied. These positive effects were also confirmed when 100% of subjects showed a significant and visible decrease in wrinkle depth during independent clinical studies of 20 women, age 37 – 64, when they applied an emulsion of PhytoCellTec™ Malus Domestica, twice daily for 28 days. Natural Colors
Andalou Naturals are not artificially color enhanced. Instead, our products reflect the natural variations of our ingredient blends. And while we closely monitor incoming ingredients, just as you’d find at your local farmers market or grocer, we find that the color of natural ingredients do vary from season to season, or crop to crop. For this reason, you may notice very slight color differences at times.

To ensure that our products are safe from contamination before and during use, we've developed safe and effective, broad spectrum preservative blends, specific for each pH and product type. Our natural preservative blends are clearly labeled on every package and are formulated from combinations of the following ingredients.
Ethylhexylglycerin: Derived from vegetable glycerin; skin conditioner; preservative enhancer.
Sodium benzoate: Derived from benzoic acid, naturally occurring; non-irritating stabilizer.
Potassium sorbate: Derived from unsaturated fatty acids, naturally occurring; non-irritating stabilizer.
Phenethyl alcohol: Derived from pandanus shrubs; naturally powerful antimicrobial, preservative
Benzyl alcohol: Derived from rapeseed oil; antiviral and antibacterial; promotes preservation.

We strongly believe that we are responsible for promoting ethical and lawful employment practices. These practices are also required to be followed by our suppliers, subcontractors, or business partners (collectively referred to as "Suppliers") worldwide. This policy also complies with the California Transparency in Supply Chain Act.
Although, Andalou Naturals is exempt* from California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, we intend to adhere to the Act, and have petitioned our supply partners to do the same, with the agreement that every effort, large or small, to eradicate human trafficking and slavery is an important moral obligation.
*The requirement that company tax receipts exceed $100,000,000 is intended to serve as a "small business exemption" for those companies that lack the ability to exert substantial economic influence on their suppliers.
