A
Acacia gum (acaciasenegal): Derived from harden sap from the acacia tree; acts as an emulsifier.
Acai berry (euterpe olerace): Organic. Derived from the purple-black berries; replenishes, regulates, nourishes and revitalizes the skin.
Algin (sodium alginate): Derived from seaweed; acts as an emulsifier and thickener.
Allantoin: Derived from comfrey root; anti-inflammatory and promotes healing, protecting and softening of the skin.
Almond milk (prunus dulcis): Derived from the seed of the plant; used to smooth dry skin, soothe irritated skin and help the growth of new tissue in the case of damaged skin.
Allspice (pimento officinalis): Derived from the shrub; used for its distinct aroma and texture, also acts as an antimicrobial agent.
Aloe vera juice (aloe barbadensis): Organic. Derived from the plant leaves; widely recognized as a botanical ‘miracle’, rich in Vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, proteins, humectants, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties with a pH nearly identical to our own skin. Polysaccharides best prepare, soothe, oxygenate and replenish, providing optimal dermal delivery for active ingredients.

Glycosaminoglycans: Derived from aloe vera and seaweed; glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) are polysaccharides that transport oxygen to connective tissue and cell membranes throughout the body, and are essential in the production of proteins and collagen. As we age, levels of GAGs decrease, hair growth slows, skin gradually loses it elasticity and joints stiffen. Potassium sorbate: Derived from unsaturated fatty acids, naturally occurring; non-irritating stabilizer.
Preservatives:Preserving personal care products is necessary in order to prevent contamination from a wide spectrum of bacteria, yeasts and molds. Personal care products are kept in the bathroom and exposed to warm, moist air, plus we make bodily contact with products such as deodorants and face creams, potentially contaminating them on a regular basis. Personal care products must not only endure repeated exposures to contaminants but must be able to do so over long periods of time. Preservatives are added to prevent contamination from bacteria, mold and other organisms.
