Andalou + Vital Voices

The origin of Andalou is Path of Light and best reflects our vision to foster good things in the world. We are proud to support Vital Voices Global Partnership, an organization that invests in women leaders who are taking on the world’s greatest challenges to a create a more equitable and sustainable world.

In 2020, Andalou Naturals and Vital Voices partnered to create the Andalouminary Scholarship Program to support women business leaders' journeys through the VV GROW Fellowship, a business accelerator program that supports leadership development and business skills training.

This year, we are investing in the growth of two women entrepreneurs of purpose-driven businesses, Stella and Tehmina. Meet this year's Andalouminary scholarship recipients:

Meet Tehmina Asad Chaudhry

Tehmina is the founder of INSTA Foods, a sustainable food startup which is focused on reducing food waste through sustainable food options. Tehmina started INSTA Foods in response to a lack of high-quality natural food products she saw in her home of Pakistan. INSTA Foods is determined to preserve nature's freshness by developing innovative ways to increase food security by reducing food waste, partnering with local farmers and suppliers to source high quality ingredients to provide healthy and nutritious solutions at an affordable cost.

"I am proud of what INSTA Foods has achieved so far, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to improve our business and create more value for our customers. I believe that our commitment to reducing food waste through offering natural and healthy food products will continue to make a positive impact on society and the environment"

Meet Nakawuki Stella Lukwago

Stella is the founder of Ouroots Africa, a social innovation organization in Uganda that partners with rural women farmers to grow plant-based sustainable alternatives to single-use products. Products are hand crafted using luseke grass, a plant that is readily available in the Ugandan eco-system. "The VV Grow Fellowship with the Andalouminary Community is a great opportunity for me as a social innovator to grow my business while impacting rural women farmers to improve their standards of living and appreciate their eco systems... With VV Grow Fellowship together with Andalouminary community, I am hopeful that my social enterprise is on the right move to growth and impact."
