Thank you for your interest in our Age Defying DIY Booster SPF 30 Facial Serum. This product takes the place of your regular daytime serum, and provides sheer, lightweight, broad spectrum coverage with proven UVA/UVB sun protection for deep cellular support. This product can be worn alone, applied before your regular moisturizer, or even mixed with your favorite moisturizer! It can also be reapplied throughout the day as it is also a physical sunscreen.
One of the active SPF ingredients in this product is Zinc Oxide (a small amount 0.1%) which can appear to leave behind a white cast but it will absorb into your skin after a short period of time. If it doesn't, then you may be using too much. It is recommended to only use a quarter sized amount of sunscreen on your face and neck, that is all you need.
If you find the product to not absorb well, then not exfoliating regularly may be the issue. Moisturizers and serums can sit on top of the skin if the skin is not being exfoliated. Exfoliation renews the skin by sloughing off built up dead skin cells and debris so that serums and moisturizers can actually penetrate the skin, thus hydrating it sufficiently and allowing the products to be deeply absorbed into the skin.
