How to Recycle Your Empty Andalou Products

How to Recycle Your Empty Andalou Products
All Andalou jars, bottles, and tubes are widely recyclable and 100% BPA-free. We consciously use materials like PET plastic and glass that can be easily recycled. We’re also proud to be FSC-certified, meaning our paper packaging comes from environmentally and socially responsible sources to support responsible forestry.

Recycling our products is as easy as separating the materials and washing out any leftover product before tossing them in your recycling bin. Here’s a breakdown on how to recycle any kind of Andalou packaging.

Jars:

  1. Rinse out the PET jar to make sure there’s no leftover residue
  2. Recycle the PET jar
  3. Dispose of the lid or recycle with Pact Collective or TerraCycle*

Serum + oil bottles:

  1. Rinse out the glass bottle (it has to be totally clean!)
  2. Recycle the glass bottle
  3. Dispose of the lid/cap or recycle with Pact Collective or TerraCycle*

Cleanser + toner bottles:

  1. Rinse out the PET bottle (no product left behind!)
  2. Recycle the PET bottle
  3. Unscrew the sprayer/pump with any clear caps attached and dispose or recycle with Pact Collective or TerraCycle*

Tubes:

  1. Cut off the top of the tube to get any last drops of product and more easily clean out the inside
  2. Unscrew the cap and dispose or recycle with Pact Collective or TerraCycle*
  3. Double check with your local recycling facilities to see if they recycle number 4 LDPE plastic before tossing the tube in your recycling bin*

*While at this time, certain components of our packaging are not as easily recyclable, we’re continuously striving towards greater sustainability in our packaging with more exciting, eco-friendly solutions on the horizon.
